AAC BLOCK ADHESIVE
HIMALAYAN AAC BLOCK ADHESIVE Is Block Jointing Mortar, with high-strength adhesive for quick and firm laying of AAC blocks with thin joints. Made of cement, graded sand, and blended with polymers, it provides high strength and water retention properties even when in thickness of 2-3 mm layer. With Higher Compressive and Tensile Strength, it offers better value for money compared to other products.

Specifications
Areas of Application
• Used for joining AAC blocks, hollow blocks, and fly ash bricks in masonry construction.
• Suitable for both indoor and outdoor wall applications in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Surface Preparation
• Ensure all block surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose particles.
• Lightly dampen the blocks if the surfaces are too dry to improve adhesion.
• Substrate must be stable and free from any contaminating materials before adhesive application.
Mixing Instructions
• Add the adhesive powder to clean water in the recommended powder-to-water ratio.
• Mix thoroughly using a trowel or mechanical stirrer until a smooth, lump-free, homogenous paste is achieved.
• Use clean water only; do not exceed recommended water quantity to avoid weakening bond strength.
• Use the mixed adhesive within 2–3 hours (pot life at 25°C). Discard any material beyond this time.
Application Method
• Apply a uniform 2–3 mm thick layer of adhesive using a notched trowel.
• Place the blocks within the open time, pressing them gently to ensure full contact and proper bonding.
• Maintain consistent joint thickness throughout.
• No curing is required under normal conditions.
• Protect freshly applied adhesive from rain, frost, and direct sunlight for at least 24 hours.
Storage & Shelf Life
• Store the product in a cool, dry area, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Keep bags tightly sealed when not in use.
• Shelf life: 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored under recommended conditions.

• Wear protective gear: gloves, safety goggles, and a dust mask.
• Ensure proper ventilation during mixing and application.
• Avoid direct skin or eye contact. Rinse immediately with water if contact occurs and seek medical attention if irritation persists.
• Do not ingest. Avoid eating, drinking, or smoking while handling the product.
• Store out of reach of children and pets.
• Clean tools and spills immediately to prevent hardening or slipping hazards.
• Dispose of unused material and packaging in accordance with local environmental laws.
